This Heather colour over the neck poncho style shawl is made from fine Margilan Silk and nuno felted with Fine Merino Wool. The piece has then been hand dyed to give this two tone colourway and high shine on the silk.
Super light and a real eye catching piece. Cobweb effect in the open weave silk gives interest to the design.
There may be some variable on colours as each screen displays different. No two pieces will be exact same as this is a hand dyed item. Different colourway requests can be ordered.
Each item is completely hand made and quality inspected by Jayne Gillan from her home studio in County Kerry Ireland. Care instructions are on the labels. Hand wash item. Dry flat and med iron. Do not Tumble dry or put in washing machine as this will shrink the merino wool.
Merino wool is both soft and insulating yet allows the skin to breathe so you will not sweat. It is eco-friendly too and 100% natural material. 100% Wool products do not pollute our environment.
